F5050 / THIS UNIT IS A REFURBISHED (Like New) AA Battery HOUSING WITH NEW Full Spec White Phosphor Image Tubes w/ Data & BOTH AB Night Vision STORM Mount and Remote Battery Pack. Amazing Aviation Grade Optics For Ground Use.
The F5050 dual tube binocular has aviation-standard optics and high resolution Gen 3 (White Phosphor) image intensifier tubes. It can be hand-held, head-mounted or helmet-mounted. When hand-held or head-mounted, it is powered by a single AA battery integral to the binocular. The system has been finished and collimated on our in house Hoffman ANV-126 system. The Storm Powered Ball Detent helmet mount will fit any standard NVG Shroud. The 5050 does have built in AA power for detached use.
The STORM Mount for ground use. The STORM Helmet Mount is designed to work with night vision goggles using ball-plunger style interfaces. These include the ANVIS-9 (F4949), AVS-6, AN/PVS-23 (F5050), and GPNVG-18 Panoramic Night Vision Goggles. Over the past several years, many of these NVGs have been transitioned from aviation use to ground use, requiring a tough, rugged mount to match the more demanding ground use conditions.
