AN/PVS-14A GEN III "ZS" White Phosphor Monocular

My first set of nods and I couldn't be happier!

Awesome unit. Awesome company. Awesome owner. Etc.

As you can see from my previous review, I’m really happy with their PVS14. Rare that you actually talk to the owners of the company and have full access to answers. Really sharp guys. They matched my new Pvs14 with the one I bought previously from them and it’s all just perfect. I couldn’t be happier. High quality product. Granted I’m old now but these are about 4x better than what I had in Marines and later as a contractor for State Dept. I sold a couple rifles I rarely use and having NV is a game changer for home security, hunting, general farm use.

Just absolutely better than I expected. Haven’t looked through NVGs since 08’. In very happy. Owner called me personally and they shipped fast

1st of all let me start thanking Chris. To give you an idea of the customer services I emailed customer services with a question around 20 Mins I got my answer back from Chris and Place my order on a Friday morning. Fast track 6 days on Thursday around noon I recieved my unit. The package was super secured everything was top notch on the presentation level. On the Unit itself I was a little worried about the "blemishes" but the only way I can tell is if I look on a white wall with the IR illumination on and I honestly don't think they count as "spots" more of a peppering on the zone 2 1/2 around 5 o clock conf for a right eye and zone 3 around 1 o clock conf for a right eye. Under normal conditions moving under the moon and starlight is imperceptible, the contrast between White and black makes the "blemishes" disappear. I have use Army Issue PVS 14s green Phosphor and this is leaps and bounds over those and I have over 5000 plus hours under those PVS 14s. The specs on the data sheet are in my opinion top percentile of what is out there the image quality and everything from the SNR, FOM, EBI, HALO, Resolution and Photocathode; for the Price, the Name of a Reputable Company (even recommended by Garand Thumb) and Chris making magic happen, going with US NIGHT VISION is an obvious choice.

I was issued green blob pvs 14s in the army. These are better! Zone spots? What zone spots? Amazing capability, game changing war, i mean sports gear. Beyond the naked eye and i am particularly impressed by the clarity. I don’t know these ppl, this wasn’t free, this is money very well spent! If you’re on the fence dive over. Fight the wife it’s worth it. Yall will kiss and make up and you’ll have freakin night vision. Tried it on a poorly lit highway and there was too much light to really test it. I could see identifying targets way out past the lil 50m when we shot at night. Excellent kit, you need this in yo life!

Really impressed with US nightvision. The clarity and performance of the tube is jaw dropping. Turns night into day with absolutely no blems. Kit comes with everything you need to get started. Shout out to John Barberi founder of US nightvision, for being so helpful through the process of confirming the order and getting it shipped out in a timely manner. Nothing but great things from this company!

I contacted USNV at their sales Email address, and they quickly replied to all of my questions about the monocular. I placed an order, and they let me know the specs of my unit before building it. The tube has great resolution, SNR, halo, and EBI. Specs-wise, it's probably ~80-85th percentile based on the numbers I've seen online, and I'm very pleased with the performance. The "Zone Spot" WP tube offered a great discount over unblemished tubes, and I am very surprised that this even counts as blemished. Looking at a white wall, I can find a few black spots, but they are nearly imperceptible. They're almost impossible to see in normal usage- much smaller than I was expecting. There is also a slight glow in one area of the image, but you really have to look for it. It took about a week from my order to receive the unit in Georgia. Overall, both the product and service have been terriffic.

I was on the fence about which type of Bino NODs I should buy, and was leaning towards two PVS-14s or PS-31. I sent an email to US night vision asking a few questions about the ZS models of PVS 14s.. the price was good, but I was fearful the tubes would be subpar. Chris, from US night vision replied within minutes, expertly answered all my questions, and gave me confidence the tubes would be high quality. I decided to buy them. Within an hour, one of the co-owners of US night vision called me to introduce himself and tell me what to expect. I received the PVS14s days ahead of schedule, and was astonished at the high quality of the tubes. There was one tiny spec in zone 3 of one of the tubes, but it was barely noticeable. I used the system a few days later on a hog hunt and could clearly distinguish targets more than 300 meters away with 20% illum. Product quality and customer support has exceeded my expectations! My only recommendation: offer the noisefighters panobridge on your site. I have one and it rocks with dual PCS-14s.

Picked this up for the wife. She usually doesn’t get excited over equipment but after she tried it out she was very happy and excited about it. ZS model because of one pepper flake spec on an outside edge. Does not get in the way or bother at all. The other specs are very good. For example, the particular tube in what we received has FOM of 2728, SNR 35.9, 76 lp/mm… and all the other measurements fall within the better side of their value ranges.
