AN/PVS-14A GEN III "ZS" White Phosphor Monocular

This is my second unit. I decided to roll the dice on the first ZS unit to save money on something I won't use often. When I got my first unit, I could not find any spots while looking through it. I was very impressed. I used GP in the military and the USNV blew those out of the water. Because of this, I decided to buy another ZS 2 years later. I received the second one and again, I don't see any spots.... don't hesitate to buy these. Great units and you save some money. I'd definitely recommend!

Great unit. Blows my old Gen 3 GP i bought from modarmory years ago out of the water. The ZS is bigger than expected but not a huge deal at all. The FOM on the sheet is 2500 so i would think that has a lot to do with the high quality of the optic. This also gave me a chance to mount up twin 14's and 1 14 with the FLIR breach. I think my future holds goggles...twin 14's is heavy even with the weight pouch in the rear. In closing...great customer service and great products!

I ordered this product about a month ago, and I have not been disappointed by any means. The specifications were phenomenal, and I’m glad I chose USNV. The Zone Spots were nothing to complain about, and are nowhere near the center or Zone 2. I was pleasantly surprised to see everything that it came with, including a “skull crusher” head mount, USGI J-Arm, and much more. The customer service was pleasant and timely, and I could not ask for much else. The tube that came had a FOM > 2400, and I was shocked at all of the other specifications. I will be ordering from USNV again, not only because of the item ordered, but also because of the customer service. The team is very in touch with customer base. Will be referring my friends to check out USNV products above all else.

I decided to save money and ordered the "ZS" white phosphor PVS-14. The quality of this tube is incredible. I have used it for several hours since receiving it and haven't noticed the zone spots. And it's not because I'm ignoring them, I have looked at a plain white wall and cannot find the spots. The specs on this tube are also much better than I expected when 'settling' for a discounted device (2600 FOM with 32.1 SNR, for example). Shipping was quick and I had the device in less than a week. I will certainly do business with US Night Vision again.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience. With US night vision. Answered any and all questions. Order was at my door within a week and their recommendations were exactly what I was looking for. If my unit has blems, their so minor that their not noticeable. It’s truly amazing the first time you turn them on. Only regret is that I didn’t purchase these a few years back. Will be ordering a 2nd tube in the near future. Very satisfied with the product, a few small spots but no visable spots anywhere near the center . Just what I was looking for.

Got the ZS version of this product, was very relieved to find only a single black spot in zone 3, which is very easy to ignore. Shipped within a couple days and got here a week after purchase. Product arrived with a full set of accessories, my FOM was 2354, SNR was 33, and halo was 0.75 (a little high, but it's been alright). Glad I got ZS white phos instead of a full spec green phos. The recon helmet has been a great investment, though the mount isn't capable of swinging the unit into the full upright position and I'll be replacing it with something sturdier. Ten out of ten, would do business here again!

First off, Mr. John sounds like a sweet guy. I’ve dealt with a lot of people in varying industries and he’s by far got the warmest greeting, especially for this kind of space. I opted to pay just a little more for my unit with USNV, not much higher than where I was originally going to invest. The specs I got were way higher; like they’re not even in the same class as the competitor. I remembered that I have a blem unit but I really had to look for the spot. It sits in the far edge at 2 o’clock, but even after finding it, it disappears when I’m looking at whatever it is I’m focused on. It’s surreal to be in the night vision space now, but I’m glad I went with USNV; I’ll be getting duals from them eventually. Oh and the nods arrived in 3 days!

Purchased the US Night Vision PVS-14A "ZS" in the white phosphor. Let me tell you, this thing works AMAZING!! The "zone spot" was on the WAY outer edge of the 3rd zone, it is not even noticeable unless you look all the way up to the top left of the lense. Definitely does not effect the use at all. Super clear at night, the IR illuminator makes it look like dang near day time with how clear and crisp the picture is. Now, this is my very first night vision set-up, and I am absolutely THRILLED!! Customer service is spot on and super friendly. Shipping took less than a week from order date. All I can say is, if you're looking for a quality PVS-14 made in the USA with quality components for a VERY FAIR price, look no further. This is the setup for you! Comes with a skull crusher, case, J arm, and Info card. I have mine mounted on a ballistic helmet using a old USGI Rhino mount and it works phenomenal. Worth every penny!
